My ex bsf and I had known each other since like the 6th grade and were inseparable by high school. I’m talking weekly sleepovers, we’re essentially each others only friends, didn’t really date anyone, people even thought we were dating. Junior year we had a falling out and NEVER spoke again. She even blocked me on social media and that was history. I didn’t come out as a lesbian until I was 18 and it wasn’t until recently that I realized how gay some of the shit ex bsf and I did lol. It was definitely platonic on her end but I had such a fat crush on this chick looking back. If she hadn’t been such a bad and manipulative friend I would’ve reached out again for sure.
