Does anyone else hate it when being LGBT is called "a lifestyle"?
Post Body

Seriously, I cant stand it. I didn't choose to be gay; I didn't choose to be a woman; I didn't choose to be trandgender.

Am I happy that I'm living authentically? Fuck yeah I am, and I'm proud of who I am. Would I have chosen differently if I were able? Probably.

It's bullshit that everyone i work with can talk about their kids, husbands, girlfriends, and boyfriends. But I am being told to keep my "lifestyle" to myself because I married a woman and because I'm a transgender woman.

Shit, Carrol, I didn't know it was like my choice to remain child free, or have cats, or want to live in a tiny house.
