So, I have a classmate (college) that I'm interested in. I don't know if she's gay or straight, but she seems pretty accepting of LGBT issues (one of her friends is bi and she knows I'm transgender because of class projects we worked together on). And I really don't know if she's gay or straight, she's never mentioned any attraction for one side or the other. Like, nothing about past exes or dating interests.
That said, she's religious. I think it's a Christian denomination, but I'm not sure which one. It might be Assembly of God, but I don't know if that makes sense (has short hair, in school to become an animator). But she's religious for sure.
Would it be a bad idea to ask her out? I'd like to keep being her friend if at all possible, even if she turns me down; she's pretty great to work with. But I don't want her to think I'm being predatory or something.
