So I guess this is two separate questions but 1) how do you guys meet girls without using dating apps and 2) how have you made queer/wlw/non straight lady friends?
I live in one of the biggest and most lgbt friendly cities in the US so I feel like this should be easy, but I'm struggling. I've tried the app thing and it seems to end up with a lot of mutually lukewarm dates that don't really lead anywhere, so it seems like meeting in real life first would at least give you a sense of if the attraction/chemistry is there or not. There are a few lesbians bars - I feel awkward going alone but I guess I could?
I'm pretty femme/don't really 'look gay' and generally am attracted to similar so that doesn't really make things easier.
My friends are basically all straight girls which is fine, they're great and supportive but sometimes being around only straight people can be lonely sometimes.
Sorry if this gets asked a lot!!
