Saw a post of a similar vein about things in relation to sexuality that weren't supposed to be mean but still hurt, and decided to make a more positive question in the same subject.
For me it was one conversation with college classmates last year, which went like this: L: Hey N (me), wouldn't you hook up with S? Me: I'm sorry, she's not my type. L: Well hold up, I just realized we didn't ask- are you straight? Me: No L: Are you a lesbian? Me: No, I'm bi (well, thought I was, but it was just comphet) L: Then who's your type? Me: B S: She's mother, though (B is like 28, I'm 22 and the friend group ranged 20-22 💀)
I was like: how did L immediately presume I wouldn't be straight LMAO I never discussed my identity w anybody there.
