I told the girl I was seeing that we needed to take a break, and that I might want to go on another date in the fall when classes start again. But the more time passes, the more I think l don’t want to.
It was a whirlwind situationship. It was great at first, when we were casual. But then she expected serious relationship behavior from me after only a couple weeks. I only saw her for about a month.
I tried to emphasis that the proposed date was not a promise and not guaranteed, since no one can tell the future. But Im pretty sure she’s still holding on emotionally.
Do I have a responsibility to officially turn her down? She is the type to always seek pity. I know turning her down would be hard. We’re already no contact. Do I butt back into her life just to turn her down? That seems so shitty. But not saying anything feels just as shitty.
