Me (21) have been with my gf (25) about a year and more. We’ve been through tough times but made up in the end. Right now she is forced to be engaged, her parents took her wallet and hide it, hiding her debit cards so she cant escape the house. She should’ve get away from that house years ago.. She has no problem moving out but shes worried about her mother and now this happens.

We haven’t seen each other in weeks. She’s busy working and I can’t come to her house because her brother is suspicious of me. Shes trapped Im trapped I cant do anything. The last time we met, it was a disaster, she never lets me pay usually so she was hesitant to meet but I said its literally not a problem i have money too. We met but we fought at the end.. She’s very stressed clearly and she insisted to pay so I ended up sneaking her some cash. I think this money stuffs only made her even more upset which contributes to our fight

I miss her, her life is too much right now for her and she’s fighting for so much. But I feel very sad and lonely, we were supposed to meet yesterday but she was working so I ended up going for ice cream alone. She works twice as hard now because she wants to move out before April I think. Idk where I’m going with this, I just feel so sad and scared of losing her, lonely, and im so tired having to pretend everything is okay throughout the day because I don’t like to vent to friends. When we call, 90% of the time I always cried hearing her voice.

I really dont get how mean her family are. She cried and begged but they didn’t give a fuck. She is literally the nicest daughter to them. She took them on vacation, she gave them allowance, shes the one literally responsible in providing the family. How the hell does parents like hers exist baffles me. Im so angry
