Hey there everyone! Now that we've survived The Great Brigade of '22 and there are many more of us, I want to change some things up just a tiny bit. And I'll keep it as short as I can:

New Rules:

Spoilers and NSFW tags: Previously, the only rule around this was to put spoilers on graphic sx talk in the text of your post. New rule is, if your post will be mentioning sx act stuff, even as a joke, add the NSFW label to the post and put a spoiler on it so it can be blurred out for folks who are repulsed. When in doubt, spoiler it and NSFW label it. Even this meme I made should follow that treatment.
The word "asexual" is fine. Same with "sexuality". Doesn't need censoring. Just the three-letter word by itself.

Update to "no brigading": As has always bee the case, discussion is welcome. I don't ban people just for disagreeing on some terms. However, don't come in here with the "Hey, have you considered that sx-favorable blah blah blah"..."Who are you to judge, man? Blah blah blah"..."This sub is really mean, blah blah blah"...don't try to start a discussion with the attempt of changing our minds. The ace subs tried, and it didn't work. We defended ourselves. It was the same arguments every time, and instead of having us type the same long responses to each new person...you can just read the old posts. A genuine question is fine, because maybe you can't find a thread where we talk about *blank*, but just a simple question. No arguments.

Casual Friday: I'm going to experiment with removing this one. Part of the function of an ace community is to build community - not JUST talk about asexuality topics. So I'll probably make some "Monthly hobby thread" types of things. One for shows, one for misc, something. Gotta think about it. I don't want 100 stickies. Maybe just one sticky misc discussion thread. We'll see. Open to suggestions.

No GB, Drg, or Den: You can probably guess what this means, but anyway, no memes about garlic bread, dragons, or invading Denmark. I will remove that shit the second I see it. Nothing wrong with liking those things, but you can go to the other subs and find terabytes of those memes posted daily.

Soft guideline for the word "s*x": this can be a trigger word for some people and can cause repulsion. Therefore, when writing it, feel free to write it as s*x or sx. This isn't a bannable offense if you fully write out sex (I just did O: ), but something to consider. It would be kind to some folks here. Open to feedback on it. May do a poll. But again, even if you want to write out the full word, just make sure you're following the rules on NSFW posts and graphic talk.

"In this thread we pretend to be the other ace subs": So I love these shitposts, and you know which ones I'm talking about. They're fantastic and totally allowed. Just don't spam the sub with them. We don't need five a day. One a day is enough. Just save your idea for another day if someone already posted one like it today. Also, since these posts will usually have talk of sx, there's a 9/10 chance it will need spoilers and NSFW tags.
