Hey there friends! So, I'm really happy with the big boom in engagement this sub has seen in the past few months. And I'm enjoying the "ace cringe" posts lately. However, I'm instilling some new guidelines, mainly to prevent us from being shut down. If you're going to repost ridiculous things that you've found on other ace subs, here are the rules:

1. Do not have the name of the original poster visible. That means you can't do a direct crosspost - we'll all see who made the original post we're making fun of, and that could be interpreted as us attacking that person. So share a screenshot, and make sure usernames are scribbled out/hidden. I know it's a pain in the butt, but that's just better overall.
2. Remember to limit criticism to the idea being expressed - don't talk about individual users' habits or post history. We can bash ideas - not people.
3. Don't go brigading on the original post that we're making fun of. If you happen to have already commented on the original, then it is what it is (I can't and won't police that). All I'm saying is, if you see a reshare here of a stupid post, and then you feel emboldened to start a debate on the original post...don't. No brigading.
