Hey I’m a detrans woman. What are some reasons why people in public still sometimes think I’m a little boy even tho when I send pics of myself to ppl online they say I look nothing like a boy and look very very feminine? It’s not my voice bc when I use my feminine voice it still happens
Post Body

I look quite feminine. I was on T for 2 years but it took about a whole year for me to even look different, my body was very resistant against the T and I never got that incredibly insanely manly looking. I’ve been off T for half a year and I’m already almost identical to my pre-T self.

Most people are shocked to know I was ever on T because I don’t look very androgenized, and I look quite young for my age. But at the same time, eversince being on T, about 5-10% of the time I publically get mistaken for a little boy anywhere from 14 to 16 years old. This never happened pre T so it’s clearly something that happened from the T.
