Auto Map drive for two different security groups

Post Body

Hello All,

I have a drive (M) that is already mapped to a specific security group that is a permissions group as well (I know it isn’t ideal but I’m not the one who made it). The group that already has the mapping has access to the entire drive per the setting for that security group. The new security group I made only has access to a select few folders on the M drive but I want to have it mapped for them as well. Is there a way to edit the current Group Policy for the M drive mapping to include both groups or would a new policy have to be made? I cannot make any changes to the group that has access to the entire drive as there are so many users in it I am worried to screw something up and cut off access (unless it is explained in good detail I don’t want to do it) I am fairly new to AD so I don’t have the in-depth knowledge that most have. Any help is appreciated! This is an Azure hybrid environment and the server is running Server 2016 data center.
