First time *doing an overnight shoot* on a feature film set as background — what will the day look like?

Post Body

Since my last post about background got some good advice, I figured I’d ask another.

I wrapped being on set last week and clocked 15 hour days. I had a BLAST — even though it was absolutely exhausting. Now we’ll be doing overnight shoots, which I’ve also never done and want to be just as prepared.

How will these be different… or is it just the same but at night? How do you deal with struggling to stay awake? Any other advice? If it helps, in New York, sunset is currently around 8p and sunrise is around 5:30a.

Thanks!
