I'm after a honey-like consistency in my acrylic paints where they flow in thin strings/ropes.

Tried various mediums, thinners, thickeners and ratios, but can't seem to get the consistency to do it. Either it's too thick and doesn't flow, or it's thin enough to flow but forms drops and no strings/ropes.

I've found one kind of paint (Lascaux perlacryl metallics) that has this exact behavior, even when heavily thinned. Sort of like a really runny honey. But other paints from the same brand don't have that behavior.

What kind of medium/additive could I use to get this effect?
