Has ransomware ever taken down cyber cloud backups?
Post Body

Ransomware often targets and destroys backups, including those connected via SMB. Has there ever been an incident where ransomware infected a device and then went on to delete or encrypt cloud backups, specifically those protected by Acronis? Given that the Acronis agent authenticates with its cloud storage, it seems technically possible.
