Let the hate fall on me like the putrid rain of Hell’s third ring!

There is not a single intelligent character in all of SJM’s writing.

There are scores of characters presented as intelligent, with much off camera activity which coalesces into a “mastermind” plan. There powerful characters. There are scores of brooding characters. There are scores of characters who go through deep and layered stories of emotional growth. And there are scores of characters who pull off smart things either “off screen” or with the blessing of a plot device.

Not one has ever actually pulled something off by merit of making smart choices with limited information. Taking the only half decent gamble available does not count.
