So to start I’m 22, and have had acorns for about 4 months. So far it has been nothing but positive. I’ve used 8 of my friends and family to help me earn referral bonuses. acorns has given me roughly $1800 in bonus investments in this short time. I have an acorns checking account/card, and love the roundups feature. Out of curiosity I went to look through the reviews for acorns expecting everyone to love them. I saw a ton of reviews with people talking about losing huge amounts of money due to not being able to withdrawal funds, or having their accounts locked/frozen when trying to withdrawal. I have the intentions to let this continue to grow for at least 15-20 years, and just wanted to make sure this wouldn’t be an issue when the time came to sell my shares. Are these people just complaining about mistakes they made? Are they legitimate concerns? What are your guys experiences with withdrawing? Should I do a small test withdrawal? Sorry if these questions have been asked. I couldn’t find anything when I searched.
