Story Time/Pressed Powder Recommendations
Post Body

So Iā€™m not a makeup girly AT ALL. In high school I only ever put mascara, foundation and concealer on my face and called it good. At that time I had pretty bad acne, and would ā€œcoverā€ it with makeup, until I did wrestling. I got tired of sweating it off during practice, so I just stopped wearing it. It was hard at first I got ā€œYou look tiredā€ a lot, but thatā€™s where the confidence started to grow. I started to feel better about myself even though I still had the acne, I realized that I want someone to like me for me not behind makeup. I really just started to bloom with confidence. Hell I even started wearing singlets, at the time I was also insecure about my weight. I wasnā€™t overweight but I also wasnā€™t skinny. As time went on I had the money to go to an esthetician for my skin.

Quick side note: Previous to not wearing makeup I went to the dermatologist. My family didnā€™t have the best insurance so I just got prescribed antibiotics instead of cream. I had to stop taking them because they made me EXTREMELY sensitive to the sun and at the time I was in a spring sport. Iā€™d be standing there then all of a sudden I was extremely lightheaded and exhausted.

Iā€™ve been going to my esthetician for about a year now and my skin looks AMAZING compared to what it was. I go about every 4-6 weeks for a chemical peel, extractions, and a few more fancy things. Then at home I have a regimen with Face Reality products. Itā€™s been so amazing, I 12/10 recommend if you havenā€™t tried this route. But remember everyoneā€™s skin is different, what works for me may not work for you. I do understand the feeling though, Iā€™ve probably used at least 100 different over the drugstore products before going this route. Itā€™s hard, but eventually youā€™ll find what works. In the mean time embrace it and love yourself, best thing you can do for yourself. :)

Anyways, about that Pressed Power recommendation, I want to find one that is acne safe and Iā€™m going for a natural/matte look. Any suggestions?

Edit: Took out an ā€œaā€.
