LPR and a Stomach Bug: the tale of a lasting cough
Post Body

So I had a stomach bug last weekend that made me throw up a few times. I quickly conquered it with tiny sips of water and progressively larger meals. However, a week later I still have a dry unproductive cough. The cough seems to be triggered by air or other particulates moving past my larynx. I was diagnosed with LPR a few years ago. I suspect that my already sensitive larynx is not inflamed from throwing up and coughing. I’ve been doing my best to use cough drops and water to talk my throat.

Has anyone else had similar issues with a lasting cough caused by your acid reflux?
