Dear all. Wondering if anyone has any advice for me based on where I am at with this. So since Summer I have been experiencing severe throat clearing, blocked ear and the occasional sore throat. I do have a heital hernia (very small) but do not experience heartburn. So I had 4 tests done in a hospital last week that did not confirm reflux, 24 ph probe was negative, endoscopy and pressure too. The only thing had showed slight reflux was the barium swallow when I was upside down / tilted. The doctor for these tests has prescribed a herbal (iberogast) solution to day which I will try but I’m definitely cynical. I have tried months of PPIs (off them now), low acid diet, sleeping on a wedge, no food before sleeping, speech therapy, alkaline water all to no effect. I have let the diet slide in recent weeks due to frustration though. Other tests such as allergy tests and a CT scan do not show anything else as a cause.

Does anyone have any recommendations of were to go from here. My only thoughts are another type of PPI (or H2 blockers - which I am not sure you can get in Germany).
