I'm exploring the possibility of transitioning to a Managing Director-level business development role at Accenture. I am currently moving on from a management position at a FAANG firm and anticipate transitioning into what seems to be an individual contributor role thatโs global in scope. For additional context, I have over 20 years of experience in big tech, focusing on technology areas highly relevant to large enterprise interests and needs within specific industries. Additionally, I live in a high-cost-of-living (HCOL) city, which I believe is relevant for compensation considerations.
My questions are:
What specific aspects of the interview process at ACN should I be aware of or prepare for, especially for a BizDev MD role?
Can anyone share insights on the leveling structure at ACN, particularly at the MD level?
What are the key compensation considerations to keep in mind during later stages of the interview process? I'm especially interested in negotiation strategies that align with my experience and the HCOL context.
Are there any work-life balance aspects specific to ACN that I should be aware of, particularly in an MD role?
Any shared experiences, advice, insights, or other questions for me to consider would be greatly appreciated!
