Advanced Prob/Stat or Real Analysis?
Post Body

Hi all, I'm a sophomore undergrad interested in going to grad school for economics

I've declared a math minor and by the time I graduate I will take:

  • Calc I/II/III (I've taken 1 2)
  • Linear Algebra
  • Probability and Statistics (took last semester)
  • One additional advanced elective

I can choose any upper level math for this, but I've come down to either real analysis or a course titled "Statistics and Stochastic Processes" which is labeled as a continuation of Probability and Statistics

I'm curious what course would be best - I'm interested in econometrics and data analysis but also know real analysis is a key piece of grad level econ.

I've also looked at a class called "Matrix Methods in Data Analysis and Machine Learning" since I'm interested in Data Science as well, but I think one of the two above is best.
