This game is far more similar to DS than FH. Honestly if this game is getting the playerbase from For Honor were fucked. That community is one of the worst. On the other hand the Dark souls community is one of the most creative and competitive.

As far as game design.

Absolver is a game with

free roam
action adventure
with skill customization
character creation.
Co-op PVE or PVP

DS is a game with

free roam
action adventure
skill customization
character creation
Co-op PVE or PVP

FH is a game with

matchmaking
MOBA action
stat customization
class selection
character customization
PVP only or PVE only

DS is waaay closer to Absolver and any similarities FH has DS has aswell.

Please dont set this game back by expecting a For Honor experience. Expect a far better result. Expect Dark Souls
