Hi all,

I just found out I am pregnant, just over 3 weeks along right now. I am part of a research study that allows women to get the medication abortion pills before they become pregnant, so I have had them at home for the past 6 months in case I ever needed to use them. However, now that I actually have become pregnant, I am wondering if an in person appointment would be better for my body. I have insurance, so it will be covered.

My question is how long does hormone fluctuation from MA cause irregularities in cycle vs going in for an in person? Would people who have gone through one or both recommended one over the other? I currently track my LH hormone, cervical fluid, and basal body temp every cycle so I'm worried about not being able to accurately determine when I am next fertile if I do the medication, but I'm worried about more pain from an in person appointment. Please give me advice if you have any!
