Newbie Getting Intro Ableton Live - What's the Best Course of Action??
Post Body

Hi Folks,

So I'm getting back into some serious studio production after a many-years hiatus. Previously, I was invested in Pro Tools.. but now that they've moved to a subscription and I would have to pay hundreds just to upgrade to a version that's usable on my laptop, I'm very close to pulling the trigger on switching to Ableton. I really like EDM music, and it seems like Ableton provides a powerful workflow. I just don't know what to get, to dive in...

I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, nice headphones, some mics, a band new Macbook, and an Akai MPK Mini.. so I'm sure I've got a ways to go as far as setting up my "home studio."

Should I buy the Ableton Suite? Should I get the Push 2? Does a Push 2 come with access to a good level of their software? Where can I go for support, since they no longer sell through retailers like Sam Ash? ..help.. :c

Thank you so much everyone!
