Question about my Launchkey and Abletob

So I have a Launchkey 48 and for some reason I can't use the pads to do anything except for controlling parts of Ableton. I had an MK2 version of the Launchkey 24 and I was able to use my pads to play synth notes, drums in GGD, etc. Is there a way to stop the Launchkey pads from constantly triggering parts of Ableton?
