Ableton Lite questions

I have Ableton Lite 11 (maybe 12, because I think it said that it automatically updated) that came with my focusrite. Am I able to add additional instruments (VST’s) to this, or do I need to buy Ableton 12?
If I can add VST’s can anyone post a link to quality ones. I hope that there is a tutorial on how to add them so that the program sees them.
