Is there an efficient way to organize samples on one machine and send to another?

I produce from my desktop. I'll be on a plane for 36 hours next week with my laptop and I want to spend the time going through all my sample packs and picking favorites. How would you go about doing this? Would I need to send all the sample packs I want to sort through to my laptop? I was hoping for a better way.
