Chapter 47: Disembarkation

The following morning was a busy day as the ship sailed into port. It had arrived early, and while most people were staying aboard for the return trip home, many, like Hannah, Emily, and Daddy, were leaving. After putting the girls down for bed, Daddy had spent the rest of the night packing their bags, leaving out only the essentials. Unlike their trip to the airport, Daddy didn’t neglect to pack and bring a diaper bag this time. The ship bustled with activity, crew members working overtime to welcome aboard new passengers and stow away fresh supplies for the following trip.

Daddy had let the girls sleep in; there was no point in rushing off the ship; they didn’t have anywhere important to be that day. Once they woke, he changed, fed, and dressed both. Hannah found herself in another cute pink sundress, complete with a pink bow in her hair. Emily, meanwhile, was dressed in shorts and a cute t-shirt and was back in Amazon baby diapers per her request. As much as both girls enjoyed wearing diapers, Emily enjoyed the freedom the thinner diapers provided her.

Daddy packed away the rest of their belongings, zipping up their suitcases and extending the handles for each girl in turn. While their short trip across the ocean had been far from perfect, Hannah was sad to leave so soon. She felt as if she had barely gotten her sea legs before they were already leaving. Hannah briefly wondered about Miss Kaylee and Thomas as they worked towards the atrium and the gangways connecting the ship to the port. Would she ever see them again? Were they getting off here as well? She could live without seeing Miss Kaylee again; while she trusted her more than most Amazons, she caught glimpses of evil hiding below that friendly complexion.

Disembarking the giant ship was as easy as when they arrived; their wristbands were scanned as they left, removed, and recycled for future guests as they were ushered into the port terminal. As they descended the gangway, Hannah saw signs welcoming them to Serenvale, a smaller, rural, high-tech town nestled in the hills. The view from the gangway was a serene contrast to the bustling cruise ship, with rolling green fields stretching out beneath them, dotted with patches of wildflowers and clusters of sleek, modern homes. Instead of towering skyscrapers, Serenvale was composed of low-rise buildings with clean, minimalistic designs, their glass and steel structures seamlessly blending into the natural environment.

The town’s technology was subtly integrated into the landscape, with solar panels lining the rooftops and wind turbines spinning gracefully on the distant hills. The buildings, though high-tech, had a cozy, welcoming feel, constructed with sustainable materials that gave off a warmth reminiscent of countryside cottages. The narrow streets were lined with cobblestone walkways glistening in the morning light while small electric vehicles quietly hummed along the roads. There were no large, glowing billboards here, only discreet digital screens embedded in the walls of buildings, displaying local news, weather, and announcements in soft, muted tones.

As they made their way through the glass-walled cruise terminal, which was much smaller and more intimate than what they might have expected from a big city, Hannah could see that everything operated calmly. The terminal had large windows that offered panoramic views of the surrounding meadows and farmlands. The wooden floors and soft lighting gave it a homey, welcoming atmosphere, while the latest technology ensured everything ran smoothly. Luggage was delivered by small, autonomous carts, gliding silently across the floor toward their owners.

Exiting the terminal, they stepped out into the pickup zone, lined with small, eco-friendly cars hovering along silently. There was a quiet hum of conversation in the air as other passengers gathered their belongings, but it was far from the hectic hustle of a large city port. Instead, the air was fresh, carrying the scent of blooming flowers and the gentle rustling of nearby trees. The town was alive with nature, birds chirping in the distance, a small stream winding through the city's center, and neatly arched bridges connecting both sides.

They gazed across the serene landscape while waiting for their ride, enjoying the picturesque view. Around them, small, well-kept shops and cafes lined the streets, each blending modern technology with rustic charm. Digital displays in the windows offered menus or services, while gardens and green spaces overflowed with vibrant plants. Electric bikes and quiet shuttles passed by on the small streets, offering visitors a slow, relaxing way to explore the area.

In the far distance, Hannah could make out Valewood Hills, a range of gentle hills surrounding the town, with hiking paths winding up to offer spectacular sea views. There was also a tiny, modernized farm on the edge of town, where visitors could experience eco-friendly agriculture, a mix of old and new. The atmosphere of Serevenale was one of quiet sophistication, where technology enhanced the rural lifestyle without overwhelming it, offering a perfect balance of comfort, nature, and innovation.

“We have a home here?” Hannah asked.

“That we do. It looks to be a small home; although all homes look small here, we will make it work,” Daddy said with a smile as a black taxi cab rolled up beside them.

The trunk opened, and Daddy expertly began loading their luggage, opening the rear doors of the taxi. As with their taxi journeys back in the city, this one had car seats designed for Hannah and Emily, and Daddy fitted them in with ease, pulling the straps over their shoulders and clicking them into buckles between their legs. Hannah was strapped in as Daddy went to the driver's side of the car, fitting Emily into hers.

As he did the last buckles, the cabby driver, a female, asked in a gruff voice, “Got them all set?”

“Yup! Just about ready to go!” Daddy said, closing Emily’s door and turning to take the passenger side seat.

However, as soon as he closed Emily’s door, leaving Hannah and Emily alone briefly, the cab driver floored it, peeling away from the pick-up zone and rushing into traffic. Hannah felt a surge of panic and adrenaline coursing through her veins as they left Daddy in the dust, running after them, screaming.

“What are you doing?!” Hannah yelled, followed closely by Emily.

“Stop! Daddy didn’t make it!’ Emily squealed.

Hannah pulled against the straps of her car seat, trying to undo the buckles, but there was no use; her fingers simply couldn’t open the clasps. She glanced up at the cab driver, seeing a toothy grin in the rearview mirror as the woman drove, kidnapping the girls.

When the woman spoke again, Hannah felt a cold dread coursing through her veins, the roughness gone from the woman's voice, a sweet tone, one someone may use to talk to a child, “Mommy can’t believe you two tried to run away from home.” she said, “It’s okay, now that Mommy has you two again, you’re safe and sound, and we will make sure you can’t do that again.”

Hannah screamed, pulling against the car seat restraints as she realized who was driving; how on Earth had this woman found them? How had she gotten here? More importantly, what was she planning? Both Hannah and Emily were hysterical, crying and screaming bloody murder as they left the one person in this world who cared about their wellbeing behind.

Mommy pulled the car into a service station, “I think that’s enough of that.” she groaned, turning to the girls and forcing pacifiers into either of their mouths, locking them.

Hannah continued to scream, sobbing as she felt a calm numbness spread over her. The last thing she saw was Mommy’s smiling face as Hannah passed out.

Hannah had no idea how long she was out. She knew she was having a nightmare, one where she had been kidnapped, one where she had been suddenly and violently ripped away from Daddy. She awoke screaming in fear as she was driven away from the port, only to find that her nightmare had been real.

Hannah stared up at the ceiling, the crib bars surrounding her. Hannah’s muscles felt weak as if she were swimming in molasses. She turned her head, taking in a pink and white nursery alone. Hannah thought herself crying, squirming about in the crib; she could feel that she was dressed in only a diaper beneath the blanket, the diaper was cold and clammy, and she could feel that it was poopy too. The door to the nursery opened, and Mommy stepped over to the side of the crib, looking down at her.

“Aww, there’s my baby girl,” Mommy said, scooping Hannah up and giving her bum several loving pats, “I bet you are nice and hungry!”

“Let me go!” Hannah screamed as loudly as she could manage, her mouth no longer inhibited by a pacifier. However, the only thing that came out was a garbled babble, resembling nothing like the words she had tried to speak.

Mommy giggled, sitting in the rocking chair of the room, “I know, I know, sweetheart! Don’t worry, we’ll get you fed!”

Hannah was crying as Mommy shoved a tit into her mouth, forcing Hannah to nurse. Hannah resisted as best as she could, but as soon as the tit found its way between her lips, Hannah’s body reflectively latched on and began nursing, the sweet, warm milk filling her mouth. Hannah waited for the haze to take effect, which she had previously grown accustomed to from nursing, but it never did. To her, it just felt like she was nursing a big, warm bottle of sorts with a fleshy tit instead of a silicone one. Perhaps it was the serum or something that had protected her.

Mommy gently rocked Hannah, lovingly running a hand through her hair, swapping breasts as one ran dry. When Hannah finished, she felt bloated and full, milk dribbling down her chin as she was burped. More troubling, however, was that as Hannah was burped, she felt warm mush pushing into the seat of her diaper. She yelped in surprise, completely unaware of her body pushing as she soiled herself. Mommy chuckled, her hand feeling Hannah’s bum and squeezing it, “You’ll be getting used to having lots of poopy bums, sweetpea!” she said, standing, Hannah still in her arms as she left the nursery.

Hannah groaned, realizing she wasn’t being changed, but more importantly, where were they? Where was Emily? Hannah was still on the verge of panic, and Mommy carried her into the living room. There, Emily sat, dressed in a diaper and a shirt that didn’t even come to her belly button. She sat cross-legged, seemingly bored, playing with toys as Mommy stepped up. Evan sat on the couch, reading a children's story.

Mommy knelt and placed Hannah into a rocket; it was a padded seat that Mommy strapped her into, with cushions surrounding Hannah, baby toys dangling above, and the entire contraption rocked gently. “I’m going to get you two some snacks to munch on; watch your baby sister, okay?” Mommy said, leaving Hannah there, rocking back and forth.

“Okay, Mommy,” Evan said, still completely engrossed in his book, barely giving Hannah a second glance.

As soon as Mommy left the room, Emily scrambled up and stepped over to Hannah, a look of concern on her face, “Hannah!” she squealed quietly, “Are you okay?”

“No! I’m not freaking okay!” Hannah cried yet again; her voice came out in a garbled, confusing babble.

Emily looked even more concerned, “What did she do to you?” she asked, taking Hannah’s hand.

Mommy returned to the living room, handing Emily a bottle, Evan a sippy cup, and some crackers. “Are you two behaving?” Mommy asked with a wry grin.

“What did you do to her?” Emily asked, leaning protective over Hannah, who whimpered.

Mommy grinned, “I gave you a baby sister to look after, silly. You get to be the big sister who helps Mommy with her babies.”

Emily looked confused, “Babies?” she asked.

Mommy giggled, gesturing to a separate rocker next to Hannah’s. Emily had thought it was empty, containing just some blankets inside. Emily glanced at it, crawling over and pulling the blankets back. Inside was another Little girl, nursing a pacifier and sound asleep. Emily gasped, although Hannah couldn’t see what she saw.

Mommy stooped down, “You recognize her, don’t you?” Mommy asked.

Emily felt cold, her face pale as she nodded.

“If this can be done to her, you best be a good girl from here on out. I can do far, far worse for you.” Mommy threatened.

“Yes, Mommy,” Emily whimpered.

“Good girl,” Mommy’s words were laced with venom, cold and hard as if they could cut steel, goosebumps forming on Hannah’s skin. “Now, you are going to drink this whole bottle without fussing,” Mommy said, forcing the bottle into Emily’s hand.

The bottle contained a thick white liquid that Emily thought was likely a formula. She grimaced but nodded.

“I didn’t hear you…” Mommy said, her eyes narrowing and her hand delivering a swift swat to Emily’s padded rear end.

Emily yelped, more in surprise than actual pain, “Yes, Mommy,” she quickly responded, popping the nipple of the bottle into her mouth, grimacing as she got her first taste of the liquid.

Mommy grinned, ruffling her hair, “There we go, that’s a good girl, go, sit with your baby sister while you finish.”

Emily came back over to Hannah gingerly, sitting on her knees. Hannah could imagine she knew why.

“On your bum right now, little missy.” Mommy ordered.

Emily, blushing, obliged, shifting and sitting with a grimace.

“Who is it?” Hannah asked although it came out in a babble yet again, only furthering Hannah’s frustration.

Hannah groaned, weakly slamming her hands against the rocker, beyond frustrated at the situation.

“Some formula, I think.” Emily grimaced, incorrectly guessing Hannah’s question. She glanced back at the other rocker, “That’s freaking Ash.” she said, glancing back at Hannah, “You know, that babysitter you met on your first day?”

Hannah vaguely remembered the girl, but wasn’t she an adult? No, she hadn’t been a full-grown amazon, but she wasn’t a Little either, a sort of in-between, a teenager? “She was a tweener.” Emily continued, “I believe she’s in her early 20s. They are not Little, but they aren’t granted the rights of Amazons either, only some. Well, she was anyway. I don’t know what they did to her, but Hannah, she’s a freaking baby now!”

“I mean, look at me!” Hannah cried, babbling incoherently.

Emily grimaced, “You can at least understand me, right?”

Hannah nodded, glowering, “Just fine.” she tried saying.

Emily just shrugged, “Sorry, I don’t know, but at least you are still in there.”

“Emily, sweetheart, will you turn on some cartoons for your sister? It’s been too long since you girls watched.” Mommy spoke up suddenly.

Hannah could see the panic on Emily’s face, and Hannah correctly assumed that Mommy was speaking of Naomi and Oliver. She was forcing Emily to not only string up her noose but hang herself as well. Emily froze, not wanting to do it, but Mommy’s voice rang again, “If I have to ask twice, you will regret it, young lady.”

Emily whimpered but begrudgingly grabbed the remote. With the rocker Hannah was strapped into, she was positioned so she could do nothing but watch whatever was on the big screen. The screen flickered to life, Hannah crying softly, trying everything in her power to turn away, to cover her ears, close her eyes, but her body was simply not agile enough to do so. As soon as the sweet sounds of the opening song to the cartoon began to play, Hannah felt herself slipping, her eyes locking on, her thoughts fading away as she found herself trapped in another episode of the childish programming.
