Omg....

Just one of the thousands of milestone photos that any loving and doting mommy takes of her darling baby boy....

Last weekend was oh so special! Not just because it snowed right before Easter Sunday, but because my baby boy and I got to melt the hours away just snuggling all over our loving little home, including the the couch, his little bed, and even on mommys big bed, casually half watching hours and hours of my fav shows, his fav cartoons (the jokes in some are wee bit much, but he's advanced), and of course some the nakie movies that mommy has always loved to watch, especially to see baby boys adorable and excited reactions 🤠, and hear what curious questions he comes up with for momma, which I live to answer with all the guidance and love in my mommy heart...but basically, hours and hours of casually kissing, rubbing, and maybe turning towards the tv (or laptop) for just a minute or two, before going back to making each other feel good. 🫠

My baby boy is such a natural, and already so good at snuggles and actively giving mommy touchies back when his hands are free to roam...that sometimes I forget his age! 😅

One thing I've always observed and found sooo adorable about my baby boy is his perfect little chocolate mounds...which he always seems to be pointing in my direction, or maybe I'm just his mommy and can't resist an opportunity to touch, squeeze, or even "check" something down there, especially since we got through potty training sooo quickly! (but he still needs momma's help buttoning and unbuttoning his onesies 😉)

Both of us had been a little sniffly and even feverish for a few days, and if I'm being honest, we both played hooky on Friday (the snuggles and wet kisses probably didn't help 🙈, but baby boys germs are mommys!), so by Sunday night we were in our little Easter bubble, having fun listening to music and having our own little Easter Egg hunt...and naturally, I had a delicous idea to kill two birds with one stone and make-up a cute game that would give me a chance to check his temperature the old school way, and also explore the most intriguing part of my beautiful chocolate boy's growing body, like any good mommy wants to do 🫦

I even came up with new word on the fly:

Cookie Hole!

You would have had to be there, but it so cute when he was on his back with his little legs wide open during one of our daily and nightly peepee checks...and after I biting my lip with a little anticipation, always wanting his consent, i asked:

"Baby boy, I think there's one last Easter egg that we still haven't found!" 👩🏽

"Where mommy, lets look!" 👦🏾

"Ok! Mommy thinks she knows where it is, but you're have to be a good boy and help me...do you want to help mommy?" 👩🏽

"Yyyeaaah!" (he nodded and humped the air so hard I almost died 😅) 👦🏾

"Ok baby, lets look for that Easter egg, turn over onto your tummy and stick your little mounds in the air, so mommy can look." 👩🏽

"Otay mommy!" 👦🏾

Needless to say....I could gush and gush, but with little imagination, love, and of course a couple squirts of baby oil, Mommy got to do her first cookie hole check, and I was sooooo proud of my baby boy for being brave, but also for telling me that it felt good, and asking if we could check it every day! 🙈🫦

He was a little warm by the way, and we totally forgot about the easter egg. 😍
