Anyone else feel like Secrets of Droon was a collective hallucinations?
Post Body
Like I know I have the whole series on a shelf at home. But somehow a 44 book fantasy book series for kids just sorta never latched on to the public consciousness.
Even during the end of its run it was already getting hard to find in book stores. I’ve never heard of anyone speak nostalgically of it the way I’ve heard other similar genre/era series talked about (ie Magic Tree House). There is little or no online community/presence about them that I can find outside of a half-built wiki.
I remember loving them all to death and always eagerly awaiting the next book in the series. I’m just wondering what was the missing ingredient from this series that kept it from fully taking off?
