Hello, grid-runners, razorfolk, sprawl dwellers and corporate ghouls. For the handful of you who read this subreddit, I've got a bit of a challenge for you.

From now until the end of June, let's have our first official script jam. You've got three weeks (give or take) to write a cyberpunk script involving psionics of some sort.

Psionics. Zeeks. TKs. Whatever you want to call them. They're people who can use their brains in ways that regular folks can't. And whether they're created in a lab, born that way, given powers through cybernetics, or something else, psionics have been (an occasional) part of cyberpunk fiction for decades.

Powers could include clairvoyance, telepathy, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, or anything else that shows their mind has something "extra."

The rules:

• The script should involve at least one psionic character (listener, speaker, someone else?).
• The script should be set in against a neo-noir cyberpunk backdrop.
• Remember the "smut" part. 😉
• The usual reddit rules apply for acceptable content.
• This isn't a contest. It's just a jam. Have fun with it.
• You can write as many scripts as you want.
• Feel free to submit these to other subreddits.

Since I've become more active in the reddit audio community, I've become friends with some amazing, talented writers. Hopefully some of you see this, and feel like taking up the challenge.

If this jam goes well, there may be more in the future.
