In the above political merited offices, which are no different from the political office structure that we are already familiar with in The United States, from the original post. 'Citizens in Good Standing,' (CIGS) cannot skip steps as merited officials of office! They must start from the more minor and lower offices (wards, townships, parishes, counties) to gain enough points to have lottery balls placed in the randomizer wheel for higher more important offices (state representatives, state senators, state governors, federal representatives, and federal senators) with more legislative responsibility, bigger budgets and representing more people. Just like in many workplaces, one does not simply start as janitor, then as sales associate assistant , then rocket all the way up to vice-president of operations in their third role with the organization. It wouldn't work that way in a meritocracy either. One must work their way up the ladder, gaining hard won knowledge and real experience in their roles and overcoming obstacles. All the while learning to deal effectively with disparate groups of people. All of this, towards learning how to fulfill the higher responsibilities of their ever increasing budget and scope of responsibilities to their fellow men and women, and their families.

The Republican Party, separated out as they perhaps should be:

1. Fiscal Conservatives types that care about spending less money on social safety nets and mostly are interested in having the more unfortunate among us 'pull themselves up from their own bootstraps.' They truly believe the dictate of President Ronald Reagan, that more government is always a bad thing. These are people that are mostly orginally of the educated and wealthy 'ruling class' and have not tasted generational racism and many of the health & safety hardships prevalent in their own monoculture communities, that immigrants, black/brown, LBGTQ people constantly see in their communities. These types also have very Libertarian ideas on how life should be lived in these United States of America. Yet, many of them do not own gigantic ranches out in a totally rural area, where this type of worldview would make a lot more sense, but some do. Also, many of the same types of current Republican Party members are extremely pro-corporation at all cost. They have a vested interest (literally) in allowing for a form of extreme capitalism to run rampant. Damn the environmental and socio-economic affects of such a juggernaut allowed to run wild. They are against all reasonable federal and state regulations that may diminish, even slightly, the profit margins of businesses big and small. They have no advancing legislation. No innovative or intrepid ideas on how to move civilization forward, they just stop any progress from happening while they are on their watch. Very pro-lobbyist.
2. Pro-Life At All Cost types. They believe a woman, of her own free will, choosing to have an abortion, is outright and absolute murder. Why would anyone support murder as a life choice unless it was the murder of Nazis during WW2!? These are also, but not always, fundamentalist Christians and they use their religion as a sword of fire against reason, common sense and facts. Pro-Death Penalty! These 'basket of deplorables' often cling to their religion & guns in an unreasonable way. These people either home school their children or put them in Christian (sometimes Catholic) schools but they wish they could home-school or church school those kiddos.
3. Law & Order types. They believe that punishing the criminal is the only way forward. Longer times spent in prison for what are now widely considered problems of drug and alcohol dependance. Many reasonable people would now rather have such perpetrators in a rehabilitation program than in prison. They mostly want to hire more police (with lesser minimum qualifications), pro-stop & frisk, pro-pulling over automobiles with 'suspicious' outer damage or moving violation code infringements. The same goes for electing judges that are known for throwing the book at people, put before them in The People's courtroom, often to be sent off to private for-profit, prisons. These 'basket of deplorables' often cling to their religion & guns in an unreasonable way.

The Democratic Party separated out as perhaps they should be:

1. The Ultra Liberal Social Reformers and Activists. They want 'Affirmative Action' to be the foremost law of the land, no matter what the circumstance. Anyone who identifies as black, brown, indigenous peoples / First Nations, LGBTQ, etc. should have a leg up on college scholarships, business loans, hiring, social services and what have you, over anyone who is just white, but also may be objectively more qualified. It is almost always assumed that someone is inherently 'good' just because they are not white, not straight, not meat eaters or have tattoos and piercings or a rescue dog. They harbor a huge amount of white guilt or, if not white, actively blame modern day white people who have absolutely no ties to Slavery, for modern day Slavery. They will casually mention the patriarchy in every conversation whether or not it is even tangentially related to the topic of conversation. They encourage NPR's mandate to make sure every news story, investigative story, science story shoehorns in some to half of the content of the story to be about how the unaffiliated topic, affects 'communities of color.' They encourage the modern circumstance of men dressed as women to perform dance or song in front of children for entertainment. Mostly Bi-Coastal people, with the possible exceptions being Ann Arbor, Madison and Austin. 'Open Borders!' are a clarion call from their coffee house barista lounge space. Use the 'Wrong Pronoun,' misspeak for an instant or be against transgender bathrooms in any way, shape or form, and they will cancel and 'de-friend' you. The worst of the 'Virtue Signalers!'
2. Environmentalist Faction. These are DIY vegetarians and vegans, people who produce very little garbage in the physical sense. If they drive at all, and are not biking or walking, they were/are early adopters of hybrid and electric vehicles. They help plant rain gardens in their communities and on their plots of lands. Often they take in hordes of rescue animals of all types, but mostly dogs. They may have chicken coups in their densely pack suburban communities. They think these dogs should be allowed out in public, anywhere people are allowed. They enjoy mellow to Reggae music. On their iPhone music playlists, they may often have Prog Rock, Phish/Grateful Dead, Kanye West and Tibetan chants. They are thin to muscularly physically fit. Man-buns, flowing garments, ethical polyamory and tantric sex proliferate among them.
3. Moderate Faction. These are people that basically see the good in others and want to negotiate among the disparate groups for a sustainable solution that most citizens can live with. They didn't march in the BLM protests, but they did a little more quietly support them. Maybe they had/have a placard on their lawn that states 'Black Lives Matter.' They most likely donate to progressive causes. Unfortunately they also engage in online and in-person 'Virtue Signaling,' but to a slightly lesser extent than the above groups. Some of these people are wealthy. Some of these people were moderate Republicans, 20 or more years ago.
