Unfortunately I wasn't able to post the results for the DDC vote yesterday, because I was busy, but better slightly late than never.

Anyway, depending on whether you use pet's citizen list or the makeshift census we either have 13 citizens or 9 citizens, so to achieve a 50% turnout we either need 7 votes or 5. Fortunately, 9 people voted so we've surpassed 50% requirement regardless of which list you use.

That brings us to the results themselves, which were:

• Aye - 9

• Nay - 0

As such, the proposals have passed and now form our constitution. If you want to read up on it you can find it in the wiki, which the server mods will keep updated as and when changed are made.

I'll set up a candidacy declaration post for the diplomats soon, so that the elections will be finished in time for them to take office on 15 August.

The census will remain active until the 15th too, so if you want to qualify for automatic citizenship and voter registration please do that as soon as possible. Once the census has ended the only way to qualify for citizenship and/or voter registration will be through the process outlined in the constitution, which is harder and more time-consuming.
