They say that a long time ago, the world existed as a savage and uncivilised place, where brothers and fathers, tribesmen and foreigners, people of all colours knew only how to gut and slice and kill. They ripped animals open and ate them raw, sometimes even other humans. Such a barbaric society existed in almost every corner of the globe, save for one, glorious place; The sun-plucked Japan, the gem of the Pacific.

For many years now the Japanese have led simple and humble lives, farming and cultivating, raising children and sharing laughter as the sun dawned on them and the world. The great waters protected them from any unwelcome guests, so they were left to live as they pleased. In fact, they had absolute minimal contact with outsiders, so it surprised Taqn (leader of the Japanese) when he met someone who was obviously not Japanese, not even Asian. This person was white and of complex features, but shivers run down Taqn's spine at the unmarked deformity that lingered around this man, the stranger that he met.

And the stranger's name was Mob.

He was told by his officials that he was found walking along the beach, wearing a garish display of robes and ribbons. He seemed important, so his men immediately asked him where he came from, and upon receiving no reply the men concluded that he was not of their lineage and language, which resulted in a show of pointing at objects and saying what it was, as if Mob was a bumbling retard. Mob managed to get across that he was not of this country, in fact not even a country this country would know of. He arrived here after fleeing his old home from war, a ghastly betrayal from their own allies. He was a great warrior, and proved so to the men. He was brought before Taqn and, with a grin, began to speak.
