Treason: Why CaptainClutchMuch is too Dangerous to be Ignored
Post Body

When one looks up "Secession" in the history of /r/ModelSouthernState, you'll find a number of results: an April Fools' Joke, posts related a resolution for a secession referendum, articles of secession, and most recently, /u/CaptainClutchMuch's inaugural speech. Dixie has quite the history of wanting to exit the union, and looking closer, one will find that /u/CaptainClutchMuch was involved in much of the secession drama, as he sponsored the original resolution.

The referendum held thanks to the passage of that resolution was a dramatic victory for the anti-secession campaign, and the articles of secession that were presented to the legislature were rejected by the clerk team.

That didn't stop /u/CaptainClutchMuch. Rather, the events which transpired furthered his hatred for moderation, a hatred which has shown itself several times. /u/CaptainClutchMuch is, quite frankly, the Great Agitator; he seems to find pleasure in lashing out against the Clerk Team and any political rivals, harassing them to no end. This is why he was banned for a short time and why several players (and some moderators) wish to see him banned once more.

Now the community has made a grave mistake: the allowance of /u/CaptainClutchMuch to gain a position of power. The Governor and Lt. Governor of Dixie were temporarily banned, requiring the Speaker, /u/CaptainClutchMuch to perform the duties of Governor until the Governor and Lt. Governor be unbanned.

The first thing /u/CaptainClutchMuch did upon becoming Acting Governor was give a speech, ending with "secession forever." This is a clear violation of 18 U.S. Code ยง 2383, which explicitly outlaws "incit[ing]... rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof[.]" Worse still, the Acting Governor has activated the state guard and sent his new little militia to the northern border of Dixie, dressed like confederates and waving rebel flags.

/u/CaptainClutchMuch is a madman hellbent on sparking controversy, and what greater controversy is there than war? (Or the inevitable meta denial of it.)

Something needs to be done about this, whether it be an arrest, impeachment, or ban. All I know is that /u/CaptainClutchMuch will not stop until he has no other options, and even then, I'm not sure.
