Moria has decided to lift the ban on mining in Morian territory.

However, there are some terms that must be followed, and not following these terms will result in banishment from mining in Morian territory, and possibly from Moria lands itself.

• First, mining is to take place within a 1500 block radius around any Morian city, fortress, vault, structure, etc. (This includes person's pit as well.) This does not include roads. A map showing this is currently being made.

• If a railline is mined into, it is to be sealed back with smooth stone in 5 blocks every direction. No mining whatsoever is to be done around or from raillines either. Do not mine out from raillines, instead, go out somewhere and then dig down to mine.

• Make any holes in the surface that you make covered back over, so that snow may fall onto it and erase any ugly scars on the surface. Preserve the natural environment as much as possible.

• Any buildings or building tunnels mined into are to be exited immediately.

If you are willing to follow these terms, which we believe to be reasonable, you have full permission to mine in Moria.
