But that’s when I do the math. It’s an amazingly brilliant, crystal clear stone with what measures to be 8 millimeters in a classic cut to work out to be about two carats. But I’d like to confirm all this. Should I worry about where I take it to appraise? Will they swap out my stone for a fake? What are my worries and what are my issues with this scenario? Ultimately I may want to recast it in a ring configuration

We have a reputable neighborhood jeweler that’s been around for 30 - 40 years called Tigge’s I was going to take it to him.
