DISCUSSION: The Role of the House of Lords in the Commonwealth Government
Post Body

This thread was made to discuss the current role that the House of Lords occupies, and what you think it should do.

I think that the House of Lords should have some sort of role in proposing, vetoing, or passing legislation. This may cause the time it takes to pass or not pass legislation to increase, which in my opinion, is not a good thing.

This could be avoided by continuing with the current 1 day deadline for voting.
