I'm going to lay out what I think our general game plan should be. I'd like to be as inclusive as possible regarding our plans, so, Imperials, read this and make comments if you have any.

I think it's best to avoid hitting Cult. While it would be nice to get rid of the Cult as quickly as possible by doing so so we don't have to worry about NKs, it would severely limit the rate at which the number of Imperials grows. Plus they can make nice lynch-fodder; every day a Cult is lynched is a day an Imperial isn't. And lynching them can get us some nice credibility, too, if done right.

So that means we should try to hit Scum. It would be nice to gain some influence (and knowledge of) gang members by trying to hit the gang, but the only way to figure out who they are is through associative tells, the same kind of tells that can indicate someone is Cult. Thus, I think it's best not to try to go for them.

So we should try to hit people who are giving off Scum-tells (confusing faction names!), or who at least haven't given off Cult-tells. Hitting power roles is probably the best plan, but that assumes I'll be able to tell who they are, which I might not be able to. All this will establish a pattern to my targets that could be found out, but I doubt it will be so long as we don't make it clear too often who we think is Scum.

During the day game, I'll try to act as a moderately active (relative to the activity level of other players) Scum. Hopefully it won't be too hard to be convincing about it, since I will be earnestly trying to find and lynch Cult. I'll just have to hope that I don't draw enough attention to myself to get NK'd or lynched. There isn't too much I can do to avoid that beyond acting like a Scum. I think the rest of you should generally try to act as you have been up until you were recruited.

Regarding Imperial voting: it's generally best to avoid all voting the same way. In general, I think we should all vote in the way we would if we were vanilla Scum. That's all that can really be said about the matter in general, we'll talk about voting on specific days when those days arrive if it's necessary.
