Preparing Information For Post On /r/Civcraft. This post will be edited and have more information added on, disregard it for the time being.

Introduction

Hello there! We're the city of the Kyndale and our goal is to become one of the biggest trading cities on Civcraft! This post is meant to be an introduction to our city and information for anyone who is thinking about joining us! Let's get started.

How To Get To Us

For the moment, the only ways to Kyndale are walking on the surface to our coordinates, or taking an underground tunnel on the green line of the CIC. You can see where our hole in the wall of the CIC is [here]. Eventually we plan to make this a rail line for faster travel but until we get the funds (most likely a few days) you'll have to walk.

Plots

The first four people that come to our city will be given 65x65 plots of land, but must become at least semi-active in the Kyndale area. This rule is to prevent people from grabbing plots then going back to their respective cities and lets people who will actually stay have the bigger plots. After the first four big plots are gone, plots that are 31x31 will be distributed for free to everyone else that wants to live in Kyndale. Same rule applies, no claiming and ditching. Citizens are encouraged to make farms in empty plot space.

Town Layout

Currently, we have four districts all branching out from a main fountain. The districts include farming, residential, political, and shopping. Each district has strict rules about what you may and may not build there which you can find [here] Any plot that has anything that conflicts with the rules of the corresponding district will get a warning and have it asked to be taken down. If the owner of the plot does not get rid of the problem in three days, We will break it ourselves.

Future Plans

Shopping District

The shopping district will have holes dug out (1:1 pixel ratio) that look like a certain item. For this example we will use a potion. Anyone that wants to sell potions specifically will ask Kyndale government for permission and then will proceed to build in one of the walls of the hole. We'll also add wool to make it look like the item from above and glass over the hole and add ladders.

Farming District

We hope to have more farms than are able to be farmed by our citizens so we can produce as many crops as possible (This will be the heart of our trade and will make our economy thrive). We will soon have a rail line connecting to a nether island and a desert which will bring in cactus and netherwart along side what we can plant in a plains biome.

Residential District

Up to you! Citizens will shape the residential district, making it unique. Rules for building can be seen [here] we encourage citizens to plant farms in unused space in their plots!

Political District

Other than embassies, we don't really know what to do with this district for the general population of civcraft. Help us out and give some suggestions!

What We Grow

Wheat, Potato, Carrot, Pumpkin, Melon, Oak Trees, *Netherwart, and *Cactus

*Soon to be added

Again this is WIP, disregard everything here.
