Imagine you were having a conversation with someone today, and they said "I'm a slavery abolitionist, I believe all men should be free" and then proceeded to segway into an hour long discussion about the philosophy of slavery abolition.
That's about how I view many Anarchism (or AnCap) discussions today. Anarchism isn't so much an idea, as it is an anti-idea. Saying "Anarchism is a political philosophy"* is the approximate equivalent of saying "Atheism is a religion," and yet I find a significant portion of AnCaps to be 'political,' in the same way that some 'Atheists' turn Atheism into a sort of religion.
Want my thoughts? It's real simple. Government is a stupid fucking idea. You want to do this government-thing? Great, go for it, suffer the benefits and consequences of your 'brilliant' idea. What is that quote "The definition of 'brilliance' is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, right?"
Back to 'Anarchism.' I can't exactly blame 'Anarchists' (I'm somewhat guilty too.) for developing these complex philosophies and arguments to back their 'position', given the shit 'we' have to deal with from these religious statists zealots who assume that the default right position is they can force us into their shit, because that's what they learned in bible public school.
However do you really need some complex logically perfect morally superior argumentation framework of philosophical human action amongst ethical pursuing autonomous..... system in order to say "fuck the state?" Why then do people get so angry when I don't really want anything to do with their Atheist religion particular philosophical off-shoot of Anarchism?
