This 'rant'/observation is going to stay a bit short today.
I've noticed a certain trend, by which one proclaims a specific set of objective rules -or- authorities. Then, on the basis of that 'authority,' they try to try to claim various sets of permissible and impermissible behaviors. Specifically of interest today are the permitted behaviors. By defining a set of permitted behaviors, one grants themselves (and others) unlimited free reign to "behave like an asshole" so long as they just happen to fall within the legalese of whatever pre-defined arbitrary authority they promote/follow/worship back in step #1.
A few examples of this 'authority' include God, the State/Law, Marxism, (and, for AnCaps) Property, and the Non-Aggression-Principle.
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what 'authority' one hides behind, if one acts like an asshole, they're still an asshole.
