King's Keep Wall Construction
Post Body

I'm currently working on surveying the site so we can get a size estimate (I can start as soon as I have more info, I'm at the site right now but everyone is offline).

As head of the construction of the wall around King's Keep, I need a few things:

COBBLE COBBLE COBBLE: We are going to need a shit ton of cobble for this project. I'll have estimates ready soon, but I'm thinking tens of thousands of stone bricks are going into this wall, not to mention the smoothstone needed to reinforce every block. If you can get lots of coal/charcoal, that would also be a great help.

HELP: I would prefer not to have to construct this all myself. Though I could, it is a huge undertaking, so I think it would be much better if we work together whenever we can so that this job can be done as quickly and efficiently as possible.

I'll update this thread whenever there are new developments in the contract. Feel free to comment below if you can provide any necessary materials (coal/charcoal, cobble, assistance namely).

EDIT1: Survey complete. Shape will be a slightly oblong octagon. Dimensions for the encompassing rectangle are 202x216. That would make each layer cost 832 blocks if we were to build it rectangularly. For a 12-high wall (what the client wants), this would equate to 9,984 stone bricks. Because the corners will be slightly cut, I would estimate that this will cost in the ballpark of 9,500 stone bricks (and 9,500 smoothstone in order to reinforce it). Zoltar, the price estimate is up to you (client says he can't pay more than 100 diamonds).
