Tribes purchasing land in the east

Hello I'm not native but I've enjoyed learning about the true history and culture of Native Americans unfortunately not taught in schools. Something has been bugging me though now that some tribes are doing well financially why they don't purchase traditional land out east? Here in Ohio a tribe has purchased land (Shawnee remnant band, not federally, only State recognized tribe)
