That this Parliament-

  1. Recognises the recent outbreak of COVID-19, commonly referred to as the coronavirus

  2. Recognises that the death from this outbreak has exceeded 2,750

  3. Acknowledges that the time from exposure to the virus and developing of systems can be as long as 2 weeks, and that this can contribute to the deadliness of COVID-19

  4. Acknowledges that there are 3 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Australia

  5. Commits to fighting the spread of COVID-19

This motion is being voted on in the House of Assembly. This motion was written by Premier MerrilyPutrid MLC, Minister for Health. The period for voting will expire on 13 March 2020, 10:00AM.
