A state election on ModelSAParliament will be held on 11 April 2020. Campaigning will go between 7-10 April, and candidates will have 5 posts to use over the 4 days, not including how-to-vote cards. Parties will also have 3 visit posts which can be used by a member of that party to support one of the party's candidates in another electorate (with the approval of the party leader).

House of Assembly

We made an attempt to preserve existing seats, but a few were renamed because other names made more sense. As the electorates are based off state electorates, the leaning calculator has been modified accordingly. The seats are below, with their respective IRL state seats in brackets.

• Finniss (Hurtle Vale, Kaurna, Mawson, Heysen, Finniss, Mackillop, Mount Gambier)
• Holdfast Bay (Black, Colton, Morphett, Lee, Gibson, Reynell)
• Morialta (Playford, Florey, Newland, Morialta, Schubert, Light, Kavel)
• Port Adelaide (Elizabeth, Port Adelaide, Taylor, King, Ramsay, Wright)
• Whyalla (Giles, Stuart, Flinders, Frome, Narungga, Chaffey, Hammond)

Legislative Council

2 additional seats will be elected to the Legislative Council. The 3 members currently serving will serve for 2 terms, and at this election, 2 more seats will be elected to serve 2 terms.

17 March-5 April 2020- Business/debates are posted.

5-6 April 2020- Period of candidate submission. Party registration will not be accepted after this period.

7-10 April 2020- Campaigning.

11 April 2020- Election day. Results (hopefully)
