I’m fairly new to zwift, coming from a running/mountain biking background (not crazy fast, but not slow either). I’m reasonably fit, and doing zwift mostly to just maintain/improve fitness, maybe get a little faster, but I don’t really care about road racing or anything. I have done a few zwift races and they’re fun. My ftp is about 2.7 w/kg for reference. I’m just finishing the zwift academy and really enjoying it (feel like I’m getting better, but haven’t repeated the ramp test). I like doing a lot of other things (trail running, backcountry skiing, etc) so I don’t see myself doing it every day, maybe 3 times a week? It seems like a lot of the programs plan 5-6 times a week. What would you suggest as a good second program? Is it ok to spread a 6 workout a week to 3 per week over two weeks? If not, can I substitute other activities in for the easier off days?
TL/DR: Looking for a good general purpose training program that will get me a little better at zwift races, maybe up the AdZ a little quicker, but still let me mix in some other non cycling activities and training too.
