Erg/workout wattage problems with wahoo snap
Post Body

So I did the first ZA workout this morning, and had a bunch of problems that I hadn't seen before. Wondering what's going on.

I usually connect to Swift through my surface pro, but decided to connect through this web companion app instead this time, for the first time, because I wanted to connect my Bluetooth headphones to the surface pro, and it gets finicky with this if I connect my trainer there. Anyway, I start to warm up, and towards the end, I decided to calibrate my trainer. I pause the workout, and do the spin down, and it never goes down to zero. That's never happened. Tried it again, and same thing. It just stopped at about 5 kph. So I go back to the workout and continue, but my Waters readings are all over the place. I have to go really really hard to get to my first aerobic zone reading, and then when it goes down to my rest. It keeps telling me to power down, but that makes my resistance harder when I do. Like unridably hard. Super weird.

This gets annoying pretty quickly, so I pause the workout again, and do the spin down on my wahoo app. That works normally, so I reconnected to zwift, and continue the workout. This time I don't have the problem slowing down that I had before, but now my numbers are all over the place. I have the smoothing function on in both swift and the wahoo app, I would try to keep my stroke as steady as possible, but it would go plus or minus 50 watts with what I can feel is the same power. It's never done that before.

So my question is, is this a function of connecting through the zwift companion app instead of just directly to the surface pro? Anyone ever had this problem before?

Note: I've only done a few workouts before on swift, but never had these problems before. I don't know if it was because it had fairly wide wattage changes between aerobic interval and rest interval, or if it was the connection issue I noted above.

Sorry for that wording mistakes, but I think you can understand. I'm voice texting.
