Crossing the chasm from C to B and quad training

I’ve gone from getting DQed I’m C grade to coming last in B grade and I’m keen to know how people have bridged this gap.
I’m noticing my quads fatiguing at about 3.4w/kg and even though I’m getting dropped from pack my average hr is 10-15 bpm lower than the guys that beat me
I’m looking for advice on how to best train this gap so I can atleast stick with the b grade bunch.
I’m a heavier rider at 88kgs and an FTP of 310.
