I have the Saris M2 on wheel trainer and garmin for my heart rate monitor. Cycling outside I can regularly sustain 130-150bpm with an average speed of 18.5mph over 34 miles on fairly hilly terrain, average watts around 165. Yeah I know I can do better... Back to my question Inside on the trainer/Zwift I'm averaging only 80bpm yet my speed is on average 23.5 with average watts 215 and I feel like I'm pushing it yet my heart is like nah this is nothing. Inside cycling that much easier? Trying to break this all down is confusing.
